    What tire would you recommend?

I saw these Yokos on TireRack the other day since my Dunlop originals are getting low and inspection is coming up in April. My immediate thought was to buy these, since they are so cheap, and run them year round. I wouldn't consider an extra set of rims because I have a second car for long...

Removing armrest plastic top driver side

Yea the door panels are easy to remove - 5 minute job and nothing breaks. I'm going to remove mine soon in order to install new plastic over top of the window buttons so that when I leave the windows cracked in the summer the rain doesn't pool in the window switches like it used to and short...

    Security system activating

I thought that I maybe did that, and I may have some of the times. But one time I stopped, put it in park, rebooted, and carefully turned it on, and it still did it 10 seconds later. I'll keep aware of my thumbs. Thanks

    Security system activating

I've had this happen periodically over the past 2 years, but recently it has happened more often. I start the car, ready light, start driving, and about 10-20 seconds later the doors lock, and the red dot security light starts blinking on the bottom right of the main display where the...

Hey Barry - I went into my Amazon cart today and saw that I haven't ordered this yet. Are you saying that you ordered the same one and it didn't fit? Thanks

    Cabin Air Filters

At www.fitinpart.sg, the total for my order, shipping dhl to the US, was going to be US$19.89 So I went to Amazon and found this one that is listed as a match for the i-miev...

    Drivetrain transplant

Pretty cool seeing everything out on the floor like that. Thanks for sharing. Cool project. I thought I read that it would be difficult for the i-miev computer to work on any other vehicle because of it's sensitivity to tire size. It doesn't even like small differences.

    CCS/SAE

Thank you. This charging station at a huge mall in a great spot for me to extend drive distance has 6 CCS/SAE and 1 CHAdeMO. https://www.plugshare.com/location/169556 I have never seen a CCS/SAE before. I felt like I had an old fashioned car there.

I have slid on ice many times when it was 37 degrees. I like the chime.

Always on lighter/12v port - Charging battery banks

Hi Don, Nope, didn't know that, so thanks! I think this is officially going under the category of abandoned projects. Looks good in the back of my car though! I really don't care about it anymore at all. Glad to have another reason to not do anything more with it. Sometimes you get onto...

Always on lighter/12v port - Charging battery banks

Hi all, I put this project aside for a while and didn't know what to do with it. I am afraid to tap into wires, especially the large red one - I don't have any wire taps that size and even if I did, I am afraid of damaging it by using slightly the wrong size or something. I also looked into...

Always on lighter/12v port - Charging battery banks

OK sounds good. It's 10 gauge wire. Thanks for the additional info about the rear install and dealer. I'm still leaning to the front connection....I guess at 20A since your reasoning makes sense, but wouldn't the 15A breaker trip from a load on that rear end before the wire melts? And if...

Always on lighter/12v port - Charging battery banks

Thank you Aerowhatt and Kiev, great ideas. The pictures are now numbered in the previous post. I like the idea of tapping in at the rear because it is closer, but I want to do a permanent install and not have to remove anything for dealer visits. I also don't want mechanics later blaming...
