I want to raise the shifter, too, but I don't want to get one of those "universal" fit shift knobs that use screws to hold the knob on. I tried that and the knob could still be rotated. I want a screw on knob or shaft extender, but I'm having the hardest time finding anything that will work...

Just an interesting side note regarding aerodynamic mods (not related to i-MiEV). Over the Labor Day weekend, the family and I went up to Traverse City, MI (6.5 drive). Along the way, both to and from, we saw many semi trailers with these "Trailer Tail" attachments on the backs of the trailers.

I did both. I had my Level 1 EVSE upgraded by EVSEUpgrade.com AND I had a Level 2 240V EVSE wall unit installed in my garage. I purchased and installed the Level 2 unit before I shipped out my Level 1 cable to be upgraded. I'm very happy with how everything turned out!

I'll agree. Increasing your range 32% (extra 120 miles in your case) is nothing to scoff at, but would only add an extra 20 or so miles onto the i-MiEV. How many and which mods did you implement to extend that range? Do you have photos of your Scion with all the mods you used to get that...

Don, no, I had not read the thread here. But I did read through Neil's blog that he linked at the beginning of his post. While it was all very detailed, I could not make out if this was going to be a working vehicle or simply a 1:1 styrofoam concept model from which the real car would be built.
