    Headlights

Cool, thanks Wee John, I opened the hood and looked around a bit and saw that gear - thought it must have something to do with the adjustment, but couldn't figure out how to really get at it. Jenn

    How to remove hubcaps?

Thanks, Archie! I'll try to get to the dealer this week before I attempt a long drive on Sunday. I'll want to pump up those tires for the drive. Jenn

    How to remove hubcaps?

Maybe a dumb question, but I don't want to mess up my new car! A couple of the hubcaps are so close to the valve stem that I can't add air to the tires. Do I just pry them off, then rotate them a few millimeters and push them back on? This is on the ES model, I don't think the high class...

    Charging Interruption

Right after I wrote that, I went out to the garage and the charging car was dead quiet, as usual. Suddenly it seemed to "turn on" and I could hear it charging, though still pretty quietly. Jenn

    Charging Interruption

I have a hard time even telling that the car is charging when I'm using the stock 120v EVSE, I rely on the little charging light on the dash being lit and assume that it is. It's so quiet. What do the lights do on the car and the EVSE during this interruption, anything different? Jenn

Maximum Miles Driven on One Charge

Joe, Thanks for posting this! Maybe you can send out a quick list of your hypermiling tricks for us all. I also appreciate your recommendation of 50 miles practical range for freeway driving, I will keep that in mind. Jenn

Just signed up for a ChargePoint card

I thought I'd better have one handy, in case I ever get caught outside my range (like trying to get to SF, ha ha). It seems like they have a majority of the charging locations here in the Bay Area. I'm not sure how many are free (I suspect most are), but I put money on the card just in case. Jenn

Anyone driven from the South Bay to San Francisco? 45 miles

I bet I could make it if I take El Camino - same distance, half the speed. (Twice as much time, too.) Jenn

    Headlights

I have the mirror adjust and the ASC switch, but just a blank panel next to the ASC switch. Jenn

Anyone driven from the South Bay to San Francisco? 45 miles

Thanks, Joe, I don't know if I'll have the guts to try it, but do let us know how your Brisbane trip goes! Jenn

    Headlights

Fiddler John, That sounds like a great feature, but it doesn't seem to be present on my ES model. I don't have a dial above the cup holder. :( Jenn

Anyone driven from the South Bay to San Francisco? 45 miles

I'd like to attend a meeting in SF. The distance is 45 miles, but that's all freeway driving. I haven't had the car long enough to know if this is possible (I'd recharge before returning, of course). Any ideas? Thanks, Jenn

Dash Displays - suggestion for improvement

SpeedBox? Is it free? I just searched the app store and didn't see that exact name. - Oh, just found it now. Speed Box. How fast does it drain the iphone battery? Do you have a mount for your iphone? (I was thinking the cup holder looked mighty handy....) Thanks! Jenn

Dash Displays - suggestion for improvement

Joe, That's a great idea about the gps - thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking of trying to rig up a bicycle computer with a magnet on the right front wheel - not sure if I could get the wire into the cabin, though. Then I could use its trip meter. I wonder if a wireless one would work...

    Headlights

How are folks finding the headlights? Ours seem to be aimed a little low, not casting as far down the road as I like - has anyone else experienced this? There are no instructions in the manual for adjusting them, that I could find. I like the fact that I can leave them switched in the "on"...

    Hidden charges (CA-specific) ?

I need to have my plates first, to get the white stickers, right? Also, do I need to have Fast Track? I don't think I'll be taking this car across any bridges. The application says that "hybrids" must have Fast Track. 3 days is awesome turn-around! Thanks, Jenn
