    That's so offensive!

Wait. Are you saying I'm not a geek?!

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

I would only execute such feats of strength within a 10-mile radius of my home, just to be on the safe side!!!! But, otherwise, HECK YEAH!

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

Aw, Mitsu can blow it out their coal-rolling ### with their "purely for ride comfort" mumbo-jumbo!!!!

The Energy Detective. It's an energy monitoring kit. I really like it. More for geeks who are really anal about tracking their energy footprint! http://www.theenergydetective.com

Bit the bullet to pay to park in the garage at work ...

Oh, I put that in my request. About 39 cents per day, at most, to charge at work.

Some Dealer seem to be jerks.

I'll second Biggers as being a great dealership for iMiEV owners. They are my dealership of choice. Of course, it helps having such a great dealership only minutes from my home! They helped me buy my Meepster sight-unseen and had it shipped up from downstate IL. Couldn't have asked for better...

    Kill A Watt meter

I use TED to monitor my Meepster's electricity usage as well as my general usage throughout the rest of the house. It's very insightful.

Bit the bullet to pay to park in the garage at work ...

I just put in my annual request for cold-weather charging options here at my work. I have been denied charging privileges at work for the first two winters of ownership, so far. So, I'm not really holding my breath for them to change their minds this year. But, I'll try to be optimistic about...

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

Think you mean from 25 mph and up to 40 mph, right?!

    got an app for that?

There was a company that did a Kickstarter campaign type of thing for a new EV app that reads all the ODB diagnostics. Called myEV by a company called myCarma. Unfortunately, I can't find any info on whether it's actually available or not. It's like the company just fell off the face of the Earth.

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

In my typical daily commute, there are three intersections (in each direction) where two lanes merge down to one lane within a few hundred feet after the stoplight. So, every single day, I have up to six opportunities to try and beat an ICE off the line before the merge. Most often, the...

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

In these instances I'm speaking of where I need aggressive acceleration, I am always stomping the accelerator to the floor. When the go pedal is mashed to the floor, it doesn't matter which gear you're in. You always get full power. My problem is the iMiEV's "full power" is not very powerful for...

    Acceleration ramp modification anyone ?

The sluggish acceleration of my Meepster is probably the one single issue that prevents me from completely and thoroughly enjoying my iMiEV. In my daily commute, there are countless instances where I need to aggressively get up to speed (for myriad reasons), and my Meepster just doesn't have it...

    got an app for that?

Anyone have recommendations for this OBDII WiFi dongle for our iMiEVs? Also, has there been any progress on an iOS version of CANIon? Are there any other iOS apps that can read from the OBDII WiFi dongle and at least provide the basics stats from our iMiEVs? I suppose it's possible these...

    Another adventure in our Imiev.

That would make sense, wouldn't it?! I need to see if that would fix this issue for us. Only concern would be my older daughter pitching a fit about having her legroom suddenly reduced just so we can accommodate her little sister. Also, the passenger side is the side for dropping our older...

    Another adventure in our Imiev.

It's due to the fact that she's in a car seat, and the car seat is behind the driver's seat. With the way child safety seats are sized and angled, the kid's legs stick straight in front and will continue to do so until their legs grow long enough that the knees extend over the edge of the seat...

    Windshield Washer Spray Issue

Thanks for these updates, all. I had no idea we could adjust the spray nozzles. Will be trying that tonight!

    Another adventure in our Imiev.

rkarl89203, Thank you for all the detail. That is GREAT! As JoeS correctly surmised, I was in no way challenging the validity of your trip. I am merely in awe and bewilderment. First, that our iMiEVs are capable of making such a trip with relative ease. And, second, at your daring and...

    Another adventure in our Imiev.

Yeah, I know, but Elgin to Rockford is entirely on I90 at interstate speeds. Doubt it would make it there in one charge. Plus, charging at my sister's place would only be L1. I'd have to charge for a full day to "maybe" make it back home. There are a few L2 charging stations in Rockford, but...
