Apologies but I've searched and searched on this. Lots of info out there of cell dimensions, but I can't find actual module dimensions.

I'm particularly after the height (or depth as installed). I.e. if the module was on the bench with the CMU / electronics on the top, how high would it be? If you have the overall dimensions of one module however, that would be great.

I'm looking at using CATL / Stellantis cells as per Citroen e-DS3 etc. Just intending to restore the original capacity plus a bit, which would enable the use of the original CMU's hopefully and give a much, much lighter pack. There would also be a ton of ventilation around the cells. To be safe from differing charge-rates from the LEV50's I intend on disabling the Chademo (as I don't need it anyway). In other words a very modest cell replacement which should net about 18KWh usable: RWR of, what, 60-70 miles? That'll do me fine. I have an Outlander Phev for the longer stuff.

Many thanks in advance!

Barry

Ah thank you: that's a great start. If someone happens to have an actual module kicking about it'd be good to confirm.

As it is, I suspect the CATL's might be tight by time the bus bars are on the cells. As stock, they use flat welded bars which are very space (and production) efficient. I did measure the Stellantis module I've borrowed, but cleverly left the bit of paper at work!

Yes. I was hoping to remove the LEV50 cells from the modules and put in the CATL ones suitably spaced. First thing to establish is exactly though is what the overall module height is. If there's enough leeway, I might be able to use most of the module casing but make my own lid. Whatever. Just feeling my way in at the moment.

I have a potential source of cells at a keen price from a friend who has ended up with some with fried BMS boards but good cells. As these modules are now no good to him as he's hacked the BMS and intends to use full Stellantis modules, he would like to offload the fried ones.
