I'm guessing the 3 year, but... The battery management unit is listed under the powertrain, and I would think that anything tied to thermal management is also covered. Has anyone had any experience replacing these under the factory warranty outside of 3 years/36k miles?
That's just nuts. You can buy a used i for ~$7-$8k. Do you have any part numbers? It might be possible to use an electric compressor sold via another manufacturer if it's similar enough.
That's been my experience as well. My wife and I got a plug-in Prius last year when Toyota was offering $6500 dealer cash and 0% financing for $8200 below MSRP+destination, so even after passing on all of the dealer cash to us the car was still $1700 below MSRP+destination.
