The Troubleshooting and Repair for On-board Charger (OBC) Thread

Just to let you know. Full fix achieved and now charging. £4,000 saved by not giving it to the garage. Sincere and grateful thank you to YOU 🙏💪👏👏

The Troubleshooting and Repair for On-board Charger (OBC) Thread

Hi, Can I please just check that the capacitors themselves are just sat in free space and are not 'mounted' in any way other than the legs connecting into the upper part of the board (N0/P0) as pictured (i.e. not connected to C122/C121).

How do we attach the snubber caps, do you rest them in place over 0122 and 0121 then solder onto PO and NO and add putty to hold the caps in place, i can't find a video anywhere. Thanks as always

The Troubleshooting and Repair for On-board Charger (OBC) Thread

Hi everyone, so we've isolated the issue with the DC DC charge issue. Blown fuse and capacitor. On attempting to remove both capacitors one snapped and we couldn't get thr whole part out. Considering soldering the remaining pin and attaching a new one...could anyone advise 🤔 please 🙏

2012 i-MiEV (not clone) Charges HV Battery But No Auxiliary 12V Charging

👋 hi, we are right at the beginning of this with the only code showing as P0A09. I've read your thread, all we could see when taking the cover off was a scorch mark and smell of burning....any ideas on this?

Would it be linked to the 20A HV fuse?

I've been told it's a P0A09 DCDC Convertor Fail; would there be merit in asking the garage to separately check the fuse board?
