Battery leasing? Can someone explain why the batteries will be leased?
It looks like Vinfast only rents batteries. IThis makes no sense. Why would anyone pay an additional rental fee when they could just buy an EV with an included battery? Could someone explain?

Here's a good discussion on Nio's battery leasing and swapping. Nio's lease plan includes charging as well as the possibility to swap battery sizes if your needs change.
