EV Charging Port Locations

Thought I'd separate and put this somewhat controversial topic on the table, and I put it into this Other Electric Vehicles subforum as it may be a consideration when buying the next BEV. Let me reiterate why, in countries which drive on the right, IMO the right rear is preferable for a charging por...

Re: Selling my Climate Control Remote

mche, a belated welcome to the forum and sorry you parted ways with the i-MiEV. You posted in the right place, and what is most common is for those interested to simply send you a PM (Private Message), which should be linked to your regular email so you get notified if something comes in. In any cas...

Re: Power loss after charging Peugeot Ion

theferdies, welcome to the forum, and so sorry to hear of your weird post-charging situation. A few questions, if I may - 1) Do you have CHAdeMO and, if so, have you tried it with what results? 2) What year is your Ion and which battery pack size? 3) What is your Ion's mileage and have you measured ...

Re: DIY Windscreen Defroster

Yes, I see the photos! Thank you.

Dumb question: does the light-colored dashboard cover, combined with the defroster, not result in excessive reflections off the windscreen, especially at dawn or dusk?

Edrx7, welcome to the forum. You've posted in the right place. When I tried to access your photos it seems I need your permission so Google sends you a request for me to do so. Perhaps try some other way of posting? http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1626 In any case, I'm interested i...

Re: Battery Issues 12V or Main Battery

Having experienced a main battery failure myself, the deterioration progressed with the car stopping charging at a lower level with each successive attempt to charge. I had one rapidly-deteriorating cell. A marginal 12v battery might cause a problem with the car starting to charge, but once it's cha...

Re: DIY Windscreen Defroster

Tiborx8, thank you for keeping trying to post. To me, the images are not visible as all I see are icons. When I tried simply entering the URL of an image it wouldn't take, even after I entered it from my Google account.

Anyone have any success seeing Tiborx8's images without resorting to Facebook?

Tiborx8, bradleydavidgood777's nicely customized instructions are just one of the ways to post images on this forum. You might peruse this thread: http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1626 In my case, I have my own website so I just created an externally accessible folder which allows m...

Malm, great to hear from you after 3-1/2 years! With that capacity, you're probably still able to drive 40km locally(?)
