Re: Level One Charger Won't Charge

Sorry to hear that it has given you some trouble right at the beginning. I wouldn't expect that missing the ground pin would cause damage to the charging cord/EVSE level 1 unit, but I suppose it is possible. The unit does a self test to check whether the ground is connected before it will allow char...

Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

There is a small cover on the MCU that allows access to the HV terminals, but I don't think that a multimeter will give any meaningful readings--you probably need an oscilloscope to see the rise time. There is another 220uF of capacitance in the OBC that is also connected to that same point. There i...

Re: Not able to drive. P1A15 error.

When you try to start, do you hear any relays or contractors clacking underneath (in the main pack)? Also, same question for when you plug in the EVSE to charge the pack--any clacking noises underneath? Do you get any other DTC codes, or just the one? There is a schematic in Lic's P1A15 thread with ...

Re: Not able to drive. P1A15 error.

Why do you not post the auxiliary battery voltages whenever you report having issues? 1. The open circuit voltage, when OFF. 2. The pre-start voltage when key turned to ON. 3. The voltage when in READY. Here's what it looks like to me, the car was running last Autumn, then went intermittent and thro...

Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

Hi, last status is now that the battery pack holds about 354V, but the condenser voltage is rising to 342V and falls down to 2V. Is this fault also related to that the car will not charge? Error codes are: P1A15 P1AA7 U1100 U1922 Since this car has an unknown previous history of repair attempts the...

Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

With the icarsoft scan tool you can also read the voltage of all the cells to access their health, and read the total voltage of the pack to compare with the 342 VDC that you measured for the buss capacitor during the attempt to start. The P1A15 DTC gets set if the capacitor voltage is too slow to c...

Re: No READY. P1A15 error. Condenser charge timeout.

Hi guys Is it possible to share the schematic for the ISA board and also where to get access to these components that need to changed, also an explanation of how it works would be great for better understanding, thanks in advice:-) If i just replace this hybrid board from another MCU is it a VIN nu...

Leaf Battery Pack Pairing Commands

Dala the Great has posted a video of how to make the necessary changes such that the car will accept a swapped pack also known as pairing, usually done by the service dept using Consult tool. The laef folks have an app similar to Canion called Laef Spy that can read the cells, etc. Dala's How-to Pai...

Re: Not able to drive. P1A15 error.

If we can believe that data then it appears to be a closely balanced pack with no bad cells. But the SOC is indicating 0.0%, which is not normal. Maybe because the car didn't go to ready. The pack at 342 VDC and the RR at 28 indicating about half the range left seems to be normal measurements. If yo...

Re: Power loss after charging Peugeot Ion

Rapid charging produces more heating in the cells than regular charging, and that may be the cause of your issue. i realize there may be no other option for you, but as long as the cells will charge and car will drive, then i would ride that pony till the stirrups are dragging in the dirt.
