https://photos.app.goo.gl/zAuiFsvgXeFP1xTV8 er the vaffle plate again. Google Photos is a terrible place to host images; the URLs are looong and aren't actually images, so browsers won't show them. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipPcZUIxZ6mRv52vlCvlzc1ewAcSMNbwv9t8CiatRZpWw_rGj_bBTiJxx-qyxQYq4...

? I think you can test the Waffle Plate™ by merely disconnecting the quick connect terminals. Unsoldering the plate is a huge job, I don't see the call for that just yet.

Re: Troubleshooting and repair for On-board Charger (OBC)

is it necessary to re-pot the component after the repair? Or is this just to avoid component movement because of the vibration? I guess it's not essential to re-pot the components after repair, but it's a good idea, both to avoid component movement (cars have brutal vibration), and to prevent dust ...

No problem, as long as you get it to physically fit without shorting against nearby components.

It could well be that, and/or temperature, different parts, and so on. I'd say the Waffle Plate™ is probably OK from that.

Re: Troubleshooting and repair for On-board Charger (OBC)

Based on the Upper Right section, I should be able to measure - URD7 diode between solder points N0 and T7 - URD10 diode between solder points N0 and T8 If I understand correctly, both of these should give near-zero Ohm one polarity and infinite (disconnection) in the other. Close. But you don't us...

I had to connect a 100W lamp together with the EVSE to fool public charger and be able to charge all the way.
Yikes!

Also, how did you accomplish this?

Re: Lithium Titanate / JDM version

You wrote that one could expect some some capacity loss on these LTO cells but isn't it so that they are far less prone for this kind of flaws than lithium ion/ lithium polymer? As far as I know, LiPo (Lithium Ion Polymer) is not used in any EVs; it's just too dangerous. You usually see it in radio...
