Re: Affordable Home Charging Stations?

Sadly, this thread was started by someone merely trying to advertise this Lectron product. I've been notified that this spammer has posted the link across several other EV forum sites. wmcbrine's response above is spot-on, and I agree that this product is overkill and IMO too expensive for our i-MiE...

Hello renard21, and welcome to the forum. I just realized that you had posted in the Tech/Reference subforum which is Read Only and no one could answer you. Just now moved your post into this General Technical Discussion subforum, and now hope you will receive some responses.

Re: Broke down

@jemsnixon, are you the same person as @joemm210? If so, I had tried contacting you regarding the Remote so please PM me if you're still looking for one.

I wouldn't expect anything with a battery or electronics to work 'normally' at -40°C

Re: How to Calculating on-board chargers efficiency

Macaron1, a nice piece of superfluous information that does not include the i-MiEV nor triplets, leading into the link for on-board- chargers that you're hawking. Normally I would classify this as spam and say goodbye; however, these products might actually be of interest to many on this forum IF yo...

Re: Miev and lexia 3

MickeyS70 had mentioned this in another thread, so I thought I'd post it here as well as his slightly-edited follow-up response to a PM from me. Thank you, MickeyS70! Also, I've updated the description and links in the Tech/Reference Articles (Read Only) to include this thread. Testing and Monitorin...

Re: Portable CHAdeMO

Came across this old thread. Just for the record, I've been using this Setec charger for the last nine months while my OBC had been broken, feeding it from a NEMA 14-50 receptacle. Works very well, with a high-quality CHAdeMO handle. Stops charging at 80% automatically which is all I want for daily ...

Re: Cold Weather and Battery Warming System

Orleans, never having seen negative °F with my i-MiEV, I'm not qualified to answer; however, the first thing I would do is plug the car in and activate the heater or defroster for about 15 minutes using the Remote to see if the heater itself is working.

Re: 10 Year's Owner

PV1, thanks for the writeup and photo - that wide-angle lens and shooting angle sure makes your white i-MiEV loom over the others. :-) I see that your energy consumption is almost identical to what I had measured for over 8,000 miles: 4.2miles/kWh, wall-to-wheels (not to be confused with what some e...
