Re: Car Not Charging/OMB reader not connecting

What is a dongle? Are you talking about the charging plug thing? [/i]tonyfri, I also welcome to the forum. The i-MiEV OBDII port is incompatible with a lot of OBD2 readers - past history showed that some readers wreak havoc and can end up with some weird things displaying on our dashboard, ...

Re: Hypermiling the i-MiEV

I was asked by one of our new members to summarize my current approach to hypermiling and thought I'd post my answer to him - HYPERMILING SUMMARY Need to separate the hypermiling discussion into three categories: 1. Re: New owner with cabin preconditioning questions

So, this frosty morning in Portland, I attempted to preheat as per usual - ten minutes of heater, followed by thirty minutes of defrost - but it didn't work at all. Furthermore, it took three tries to start the car and get it into Ready mode. The first two tries, I just got a ding and a 12v battery...

Re: can a different tire size work ok?

I’m seeing the Haida Vogue HD628 in 155/60-15, which is only 0.4% less circumference than stock, with 100mm added width. They have a highway rib tread similar to the Enasaves, but no LRR claims. Anyone try ...

Hello george48, and indeed welcome to the forum. Which year and which model i-MiEV do you have, how long have you owned it, how many miles on it, and what typical fully-charged RR (Range Remaining) do you see?
