Meet n Greet EV test Rides, Laval, Quebec

The AVEQ - (Association of Vehicles Electric Quebec) has organized another event to help promote EVs for one day (today Saturday 17 Oct) in Laval Quebec Hoping to get as many as possible people behind the wheel of EVs.
We will be the with our miev as well as another local Miev owner.
Hope some members here can make it out.

A report on the event

The bad news

With n 4 hours the weather was horandus, It swung from
bright , cold and sunny to
dark, cloudy and cold to
dark, rainy, mixed with sleet & cold to
Dark snowy and cold,
And back and forth
Strong winds blew down one stand .

The good news
The attendance was surprisingly good.
The weather showed that the EVs are up to it.

We gave out 7 test rides and had many discussions on the car
There were several owners and prospective buyer asking a lot of questions on the diesel heater installation .

Great to see DonDakin at the event although we had little time to talk.
We did laugh over a decal we saw on a Volt.

Overall a pretty good event considering.
