I also received the letter this week. My dealer has the new MCU on order for me. Has anyone had the recall work done yet? It would be nice to have a look at Mitsubishi's instructions to the dealers on this.

This must be a well kept trade secret! I ended up having my dealer program the remote for me to the tune of $50.

I ended up finding a used remote on ebay for $100. The dealer only charged me $50 to set it up for my car. Still expensive in my opinion, but far better than MSRP!
