    A 2011 C-Zero should have the 16kWh battery pack. The 14.4kWh battery came around mid-2012. However, if your battery pack has been replaced in recent years, you will actually get the 14.4kWh pack even if your car came with the 16kWh pack accordingly to the Citroen part catalog.

    European iMievs came with the remote from MY2012, the 2011s don't have it. Also, iMiev's French siblings (Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero) does not have this feature.

    Are you sure there isn't a 5 years/100 000 km warranty on the batteries? As I have understood it, the 3 years/50 000 km warranty is drivetrain only and the battery have a 5 year warranty instead.     Don't know if this feature with brake lights coming on when regenerating is added on US-sold i-Mievs, but here in Europe i-Miev-clones Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero has received this feature from MY2015. I haven't checked for Euro-spec i-Miev, but guess it is the same.
