Bought new silver 2012 SE for $26,250

I think that's a reasonable thing to worry about. I bought an I-MiEV at Roger Beasley. There were six I-MiEV's there when I bought it 3 months ago. Both the car I bought and the and the one I test drove had about 500 miles on them. So they've been getting a fair amount of test drives. I have a...

Bought new silver 2012 SE for $26,250

http://www.beasleymitsubishisouth.com/mitsubishi-models/mitsubishi-i-miev-austin-tx.cfml They have two base SE's for about $20k and an SE with nav for $23k. It would probably cost about $700 to ship the car from Austin to Illinois.

Look like Mitsu still try to promote EV

Duh, that's really obvious when you use the metric system. Not that it doesn't make sense to think of power in multiples of 746 instead of 1000. As for the power output of the batteries, if they don't care about longevity or safety they could go with Lipo batteries like they use in the RC world...

Look like Mitsu still try to promote EV

The Pikes Peak Hill Climb will be the first race where electric vehicles will hold the overall title. They're only 30 seconds off the record and they've been getting faster by leaps and bounds. I wouldn't be shocked at all an electric car took the overall crown this year. It's interesting that...

    Tax credit 2013

I think there's still a $2500 tax credit for low speed electric vehicles. I can't remember what the form is, but I would guess this is what the OP is looking at. The I-MiEV qualifies for the $7500 tax credit.

    iMiEV vs. Competition

We have a Nissan Leaf and not an IMiEV. After test driving the IMiEV, I find the Leaf to be substantially nicer. That being said, everybody's needs are different and I liked the IMiEV more than I thought I would. I feel like the website reviews for the IMiEV are way too negative. I could see...

Leather steering wheel and shifter knob in ES

I did a little more google image searching and I found pictures of what the ES steering wheel and shifter knob are supposed to look like. It's really weird the ES cars I looked at (two of them) had the leather covered bits. In the brochure it says it's not even possible to order the ES with...
