Swapping 2013 for 2012 OBC - Helpful (hopefully) Videos

I recorded some of what I learned when I installed a 2013 OBC into my 2012 I-MIEV. Hopefully they are helpful.

Hopefully I can embed these youtube videos sucesfully :?

1pk, thank you very much for posting these videos. They will be a big help to someone like myself with a backup 2016 OBC when (not 'if') it comes time to replace an OBC in one of my 2012s. I admire your willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done and delighted it worked.

Interesting the number of seemingly-minor changes Mitsubishi made, and I would hope that the internal circuit design has been improved.

I was initially confused as you kept referring to the 'inverter', as that expression is usually reserved for a dc-->ac device and the OBC is ac-->dc. For example, our MCU is sometimes called an inverter. Not to worry, I'm picking nits, and we know it's the OBC you're talking about ;)

I learned quite a bit performing this swap including the correct names for the parts  .

The next time I spend some time on my car I'll take a video of what the whole installation looks like. I need to check it anyway as some of the connections I made were meant to be "temporary".
