Hello!!!!

What is the charging capacity of Mitshubishi I miev?

Can I use type 2 charger with 32 Amber or should I buy an adaptor?

The OBC receives a control signal from the EVVSE chargging station that indicates how much current is available, but the OBC will only draw as much as it needs from the supply.

The miev OBC has a power rating of about 3.3kw on 240vac, so the maximum current draw is less than 15 Amps. It will only draw as much as it can use--even if 32 Amps is available it can still only use a maximum of 15.

Err, that's how it works for DC fast charging. For AC charrging, the EVVSE actually sends a signal to the on board charrger to tell the charrger the maximum current that it should draw.

The charrger will draw what it needs up to its own rated capacity, as Kiev said.
