Security system activating

I've had this happen periodically over the past 2 years, but recently it has happened more often.

I start the car, ready light, start driving, and about 10-20 seconds later the doors lock, and the red dot security light starts blinking on the bottom right of the main display where the speedometer area is. Then if I stop, turn the car off and open my door, the alarm goes off. I have to hit the unlock on the remote before leaving the car to avoid it.

Anyone seen this or have any ideas?

That sounds like a classic computer glitch. I've never had this happen on either of my 2016 cars...

i've had that happen when i accidentally fat-thumbed the key while starting and pressed the door lock button.

I thought that I maybe did that, and I may have some of the times. But one time I stopped, put it in park, rebooted, and carefully turned it on, and it still did it 10 seconds later.

I'll keep aware of my thumbs. Thanks
