Hello everyone, I have tried to use a ELM327 OBD scan tool to talk to my Czero. During my tests, I have fixed the protocol of Czero to CAN 11 bits @500 K and my ELM327 tool responds correctely my AT commands, such as "AT CRA+ID" or "AT MA", but when I sent a simple OBD request like "01 00", "03" or "01 5B", it shows : "Searching... Unable to connect". If my Czero is not compliant OBDII, but how could it respond ELM AT commands?

Anyone can help me?

Thanks

Roy Bo

Hello.

Nobody in this forum has made a ELM327 work with our car, AFAIK. Several (I included) have problems, blinking lights, lose brakes! and other problems when try it. Don't know if the main problem is lack of speed, a different protocol, or what.

I want to say bought in france... That's to see I need to change another chip than ELM327 to make it work?

Many of us use caniOn app for android devices:

Don't work with ELM327.

Recommended OBD-II Bluetooth-Adapter:
OBDLink LX Bluetooth or OBDLink MX Bluetooth from scantool.net or STN1170 OBD-II Adapter from ahdesign.us equivalent or better

Others go to OVMS (work in iOs & Android, I think), but I don't know what interface they use:
