Extended warranties

Mon Dec 19, 2016 9:37 pm

Now that our cars are getting on in age, has anyone looked at extended (third party) warranty programs ?
I received an unsolicited letter from one such company today and enjoyed hearing all the ICE components that would be covered if I purchased this platinum program to the tune of $595/year. In their defense, they did not know it was an electric car until I told them. But, it was an amusing conversation.
Stay charged my friends.

May you email to the car supplier?

They contact you to sell you an extended warranty on a car they know absolutely nothing about?? In their defense, it seems they're not very smart . . . . but then since they would more than likely do absolutely nothing to fix your car should the need eventually rise, maybe they're VERY smart . . . . assuming they can talk you out of your $600

Beware, my friend - Steer very clear of those shysters!
