Today (about 1-1/2 months after purchasing my iMiEV) I received a welcoming email from Mitsubishi inviting me to sign up on their owners' website. They unnecessarily had me fill in a bunch of data (VIN, address, etc.) that they already have. Anyway, for login they wanted an email and asked to create a password, and I completed all their questions, indicating that I ONLY wanted to receive iMiEV-related information.
Well they sent me a confirming email, listing not only my email address but the full PASSWORD as well! DUH :evil:
In this day and age, I expected more security professionalism.
So, the word of warning is to use a trivial password (which, luckily, I had done) that isn't used elsewhere.
