I've been noticing a relay click on then back off when accelerating uphill from a stop. It's been pretty reliably doing it at the same spot every morning.
What happens is I'm going uphill towards a stop sign and let off to lightly regen to a stop with the brake pedal. Since I'm not pushing hard enough on the pedal to kick the creep function out, the motor holds the i-MiEV while I switch pedals. When I start moving, the relay clicks, almost a second goes by and it clicks back off. This relay is under the dash. I know when I go to record it, it won't do it.
Anybody else experience this? Is it a hill assist circuit?
