Hopefully just a glitch---however second delay. I was hoping to be an early adapter adopter

At his booth at Saturday's Electric Auto Association event we talked about the Kickstarter project (he said he just needs to make a quick video) so I suggested that he provide the reason for the delay - I see now that it's been put off until September 24. He's simply one very busy person!

Even though the website says 24 September for the start of the Kickstarter campaign, it was still not enabled when I just tried accessing.

Over on the Leaf forum there is a parallel thread to this one, and which Tony Williams posts to. Same impatience and questions as here, with the last post by Tony which can be taken in a number of ways.

Since he hasn't taken down the webpage about the jDapter nor updated it, I can only surmise that he is one very busy person!

Latest post by Tony Williams says they're redesigning and will soon be offering it...

Left a message yesterday about the adapter and Tony called me back about it. He says it is going to be produced and has been in redesign as another member stated. He said we are looking at about a six month time period before they will be available. If you need to do something now, the cable of the HPWC and connector can be replaced with a $199 setup (limited to 40 amps) or a $299 setup for the full 80 amp output. BTW --- the 80 amp option is currently backordered. Because I am not in a rush for the adapter (I have other EVSE's) I should just wait for the "Jdapter" to be manufactured and not mess with the cable/connector change. Maybe the Model 3 will arrive before the adapter, maybe not. :D !
