This is a relatively decent EVSE. I have been using it for 2 years now.
Although I have had to already replace the only electro-mechanical part in it...the 40 amp 2 pole contactor.
It failed. It started chattering like a chain saw. The original contactor was made in China. The replacement was sourced at a local electrical supplier and was only $30.00 and took a half hour to install.
I believe the EVSE is made in Taipei, Taiwan.

It is actually manufactured by Lite-On Clean Energy and is model number EVS-P30B2B.
7.2kW
Calls for a 40 amp installed circuit. A bit overkill for an I-MiEV but good for most EV's.
Input rating 120/208-240Vac / 60hz / 30a
Output rating 120/208-240Vac / 60hz / 30a

Cheers,
Roman
