Eaton L-230 Charging Station

Does anyone know where I can purchase an Eaton L-230 wall mount charging station for my garage. I have a Mitsubishi I ordered and would like to have the charger installed when I take delivery. I already have 240 volts in my garage and would like to install the unit myself instead of having the Geek Squad install it. Thanks Dan O

Dear mvukovich11, thank you for your reply to my question. I looked at the yourgreencontractor web site and saw that they want $1,395.00 for the Eaton unit. You mentioned that you have the Leviton unit. I have looked at that unit online for around $999.00. That is a big difference. My only concern is that the Eaton unit is what Mitsubishi is recommending. What has your Mitsubishi dealer told you? Will it void the battery warranty if I go with someone other than Eaton? Are there communication panels in the "I" that only Eaton will talk with? Thanks in advance! Dan O

No, All units that are compatible with all of the EVSE Standards and Recommended Practices, including SAE J1772, NEC 625, UL2231 and UL 2594 will work. Most of us will be using Public & Private (work place) Level 2 charge stations when the car is away from home. The Leviton unit is compatible with all of the EVSE Standards and Recommended Practices. I found it for $949.00, lot of the Nissan leaf consumers are using it.
