I crunched the driver's side mirror on a pillar in a parking garage today. The outside cover (white, same color as the car itself) is undamaged, but the bottom black part is broken and some inner parts also broke so the mirror itself won't stay in position. Waterproof tape is going to be the first, short-term solution--it will hold the mirror in place. Longer term I'm looking to replace it. Dealer is quoting $366 Canadian for the entire mirror assembly ("plus labor," the dealer said, but I think I can handle a screwdriver myself). Looking for alternatives online, I'm not finding it listed at the usual sites (http://www.mitsubishiusaparts.com/). Any other suggestions for where to find the part?

Some where on here someone else did the same thing and needed a side mirror.

I want to say that they said it was the same as the 2015 Lancer and Mirage ?? Or another similar Mitsu car.

Amazon has them, i just did a simple search so no idea if these would fit.
Lance ; https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=mitsubishi+side+mirrir+lancer&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Amitsubishi+side+mirrir+lancer

Mirage; https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=mitsubishi+side+mirror+mirage&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Amitsubishi+side+mirror+mirage

Thank you. Interesting--the mirror glass for the Amazon listings has a very different shape than my 2012 iMiev mirror shape, so I don't think I'll go with that.

This one on ebay looks promising, but I cannot see the full mirror shape in the photos: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MITSUBISHI-MIRAGE-2012-Left-Side-Mirror-Assembly-6013600-/331752439726?hash=item4d3dfc7fae:g:IT8AAOSwGotWlKaH&vxp=mtr

My mirror looks the same as the Lancer on this video, but aside from the ebay link above--which doesn't show the crucial curved angle at the lower right-hand side of the mirror glass--I'm not finding anything on ebay or Amazon that looks the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsTW66KDLQI

I'll keep looking!

car-part.com was most useful so far. Supposedly somewhere close by in BC has a 2013 mirror for the iMiev, also a mirror for 2013 Lancer. The parts guy there said that the two mirrors are not the same. But he might be referring to different mounts. All I need is the mirror housing. I'll follow up with him tomorrow; I'm asking for a picture.

From what I've seen, the mirror assemblies themselves are nearly if not totally identical between the 2012+ Lancer, Mirage, and i-MiEV. What differs is the mount that bolts to the door. There are three screws that hold the mirror assembly to the door mount. The problem is that to separate the mirror from the mount, the pins in the electrical connector need removed as the connector is too large to fit through the mount.

Thanks for this, PV1. I'm going to try to do this myself and it's good to have this tip about removing the pins from the electrical connector. Are the pins fairly easy to remove and put back on?

I haven't tried it, but it shouldn't be too difficult.

I've looked at how the mirrors are mounted, but I haven't tried taking one off. There may be more to it than what I've posted. Also, unplugging the connector may require removing the interior door trim along with the upper piece, which will have to be removed.

Definitely easier. Interior trim still needs removed, but the mirror itself would only require two bolts and plugging in the connector. The second post here (http://myimiev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2168&start=20) has the details on removing the interior trim. It's actually quite easy, but does require an alarming amount of force to release the first clips on the bottom.

I successfully installed the salvage 2013 driver side mirror on my 2012 iMiev today--cost $150 Canadian and took 10 minutes, thanks to the helpful link about removing the door trim and the additional documentation provided by JoeS. Also thanks to my 8-year-old son holding the new mirror in place while I screwed in the screws.
