Hello again,

Rather then my usual topic of cold weather I have a question about Daytime running lights.

I was wondering if the wiring and the casings for the lights are already on the ES imievs ? Is it just a question of adding the lights and the relay to turn them on or is it more of a major surjury ?

Right off the bat the turn signal lever needs changed, but I think that's pretty simple to do. I can't imagine Mitsubishi would make a different wire harness just to lock that option out. It's supposed to be dealer install-able.

There used to be DIY OEM Mitsu DRL kits on eBay for adding the fog lights, so I assume it's not that hard to do - Think the kits were about $250 or so. If you check with a dealer, I'm sure you can order the kit. You might have to check with a dozen or more dealerships in order to get them for $250 though. Many dealerships sell parts for ridiculous prices. I buy genuine Mazda parts from a dealership who specializes in Internet business and the prices are frequently in the range of 50% of what my local dealer wants for the same item. We NEED an 'Internet Specialist' Mitsu dealer!!

Includes everything including a new turn signal switch which includes the fog light switch.

Here's the installation instructions

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that everything is pre-wired and all you need is the kit.
