I-go company looking to use Mitsubishi i-Miev

Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:34 am

I-go, a car sharing company in Illinois, is looking to use the Mitsubishi i-Miev (as well as the Nissan Leaf) in their sharing program.

Currently I-go is only using hybrid vehicles, but they want to make the move to include electric vehicles in their program. I-go wants to install solar panel covered parking spots for the electric vehicles that would keep the cars charged and ready to go at any hour.

Sorry, just noticed the solar paneled covered parking spots are called 'Solar Canopies', and the canopy covers 4 parking spots, but only charges 2 vehicles.
