We used this seat height booster with our infant until we sold our MiEV.
Why?
With our average size baby seat facing rearward on the right rear seat, the top of the seats touch and necessitate the passenger seat to be moved so far forward to be unusable by an adult.
With this booster the baby seat and front seat can be moved back approximately 6 inches.
I'm a structural engineer and handy with woodworking, so I built it crazy sturdy out of wood, glue and screws, painted black, and screwed down the baby seat.
There is also some storage space inside it and a foam pad under to protect the seat fabric.
The right front would fit better but is not recommended...
Maybe some smaller cheap baby seats are a bit smaller so don't need this.

It's heavy so shipping might not be cheap, so pickup from 90630 zip is better.
