I will figure out the price including shipping tomorrow. I will also have to check and see if anyone who wants some is in the US or not.

Are these filters shown in the picture installed upside down?

That's the correct air flow direction. It should be in the owner's.

Another way I used to do with other cars I've had was to find a regular domestic ENGINE intake filter the same thickness and a bit larger than the cabin filter to be replaced, and trim it down if possible - or else if the shape is too different, just cut the filter elements out of both new & old filters, and hot-glue the new element into the old frame. I've also used pleated home air conditioner filter elements and just squished them to fit in the old frame with approximately the same number of pleats - And you can get home A/C pleated filters already impregnated with activated charcoal.

Man, I've found some of these things on eBay and other places, but they're either very expensive and usually on foreign shopping sites (from UK to Russia). For example, on eBay a UK seller is selling a Blue Print brand filter for i-MiEV's for $48 USD.

Here's some cross-reference part numbers that I SUSPECT are the same as the i-MiEV (check dimensions 179x179x20 mm). Believe it or not, the only sources I found for the Fram filter was foreign shopping sites too - Not willing to send them my credit card number!

I sense a moneymaking opportunity here, trimming domestic engine intake filters down to i-MiEV size and selling them on eBay, if I can find some that are similar enough in size

If you want Cabin Air Filters that correctly fit the 2012 i-MiEV without any modification; here they are:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/ ... 1382200731

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitsubishi-i-Mi ... 3c&vxp=mtr

There is no profit to speak of in selling these since Amazon, eBay, DHL, USPS, & Paypal all get there fees.

jjlink,

I will need the cabin filter. Those links on Amazon and e-Buy show sold out items. Do you plan another group purchase? I would be interested to get a couple of them.

Thanks, Stan

Premium Guard Cabin Air Filter, Part Number: PC5530, do not fit the i-MiEV. I bought one over a year ago and they are way too big. Read my review of them on Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Premium-Guard-PC5 ... ewpoints=1

There are a bunch of these air filters that do fit on ebay: (just search for cabin air filter 7803A012)

It says 0 results found and lists related searches. I do not think they are good fit for iMiEV.
