Seems to work. It was 113 today and the dash was at least 20 degrees cooler while driving around in the sun.

Appears to be available in a number of outlets.

My answer to the "it's just too damn hot outside" Arizona dilemma (108° F in Tucson when the below photo was snapped earlier today) is the Covercraft UVS100 interior heat shield . . .

I know there's another thread here on the forum showing exterior-mounted sunshades and some nifty homemade solutions. But this one is surprisingly effective for something that simply comes out of the box (hint: roll the side windows down about half an inch or so to equalize interior cabin air with the outside.) I also wanted something that I could pop up and down within a few seconds and wouldn't get casually stolen. Works very well and it's worth the $50 or so I paid for it.

(Sigh) Perhaps we are talking about two different topics?: this one for dashboard covers and the one with all the Sun Shade variations

Both appropriate as summer is now hitting us.

We have something similar that we use in the moderate heat. When its really hot, like today, we use the Budge. Its worth the extra effort to cover the car.

But the Dashmat still make a difference in the dash (and as a result, the interior and the AC) temperature while driving around, which is why we got it.

Ah yes. That's the one I was thinking of. Thanks, Joe. Sorry. I'll repost on that thread
