Kuuuurija, I took the liberty of moving your post into this new Off-Topic thread, as for the life of me I couldn't figure out what it has to do with battery degradation.

The numbers you cite perhaps need a little more context, as I suspect they are very demographic-dependent. Source?

5.44% of our time is spent driving, which means we spend 1.3 hours/day driving our cars. Considering that there is a huge population of teenage non-driving e-mobile owners, I have to wonder if this number is compensated-for by the population of driving professionals.

The statistic regarding charging is not clear, for any number of reasons.

0.0034*24*60=4.9 minutes/day

Does it mean that the owner actually spends five minutes/day running around plugging and unplugging their e-mobile device? Sound high and is perhaps an indictment of people's inefficiencies.

Does it mean the amount of time the e-mobile is plugged in or the actual amount of time it charges? In any case, this number would be a bit low.

Sorry, still don't understand your post nor the reason for it on this forum.
