Tesla S CAN buss cell data

Mon Feb 01, 2016 3:30 pm

The tesla guys have finally cracked the CAN buss for their cars and are starting to get huge piles of data including the 96 brick (74 cells in parallel) voltages and temperatures.

i'm trying to parse some of it but not sure what tools to use to see 96 voltages at a time on a graph and then animate the chart with respect to the time history, for example to see the voltage come up during charging.

i've used excel to see individual time slices, but it would be tedious to cover 4000 seconds of data.

i'm looking at building an SQLite database in firefox but i have no experience with it and just learning.

Any suggestions or advice?
