The offgrid thing origins partly from people annoying Musk with coal-talk. I don't know about EU and USA, but in Norway we have a "power tax" for installations with high demand, like DCQC's.
So why not combine the whole product range?
I have seen a pic from an another regular DCQC with "drive through" mode as well. At least here in Norway an experienced EV "celebrity" dubbed TeslaBjørn
haul big trailers around the country with his TMX. He has advocated for this type of layout. You can see why in the following clip:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akONJfTO2W8
He also does long 1000 km (650 mi) long trips with privately borrowed, regular budget EV's, just to share it with us. Well, he do combine it with Nimber
tasks. Which is an another way to "help" people with bringing random stuff around for a penny.
I've learned a lot from him about hypermiling, evaluating terrain and weather, calculating with "asian math" on the go and so on.
For a while, I've had an idea of collecting his long trip tests in a thread. Not sure if I should post them separately or together? Thoughts?
You should check out his channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/bjornnyland/videos
I dig this one: Model X towing 2250 kg/5000 lb boat+trailer up the mountains https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=op2JZi7zMbM
Or what about this solar powered toolbox trailer?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34NwCEQtC1Y
