Re: measuring capacity loss through CanIon

Does anyone know why I do not have any reading in the Ah field?

CanION is updated, the car is a clone (Peugeot) and the OBD-II is an STN1170.

Everything measures perfectly, just does not give me any value for "Ah" :x

Any ideas?

Re: Canion

CaniOn was updated to 140 in my phone. Came here to see some information of it, but I see I'm the first one to write about it. It seems, for me, just one new thing, but a great improvement, the one that I was asking for since 2013. I think Ah of the battery was finally added. I was following that v...

Re: What's to power to wheels strategy of the Mitsu PHEV?

There are two electric motors, front&rear, 60 kW each. The battery can supply 60 kW. If you need low power, the 12kWh battery do the job. If you need more power, the gas engine kick on, as a power supply to the front motor, and the battery feed the rear one. There is no gearbox. There is a clutc...

Re: Battery cell failing at just 2900 km (1800 miles)

Unfortunately I discovered my obd reader is based on ELM327, so no CanIon data for now. I placed an order for an OBDLink MX on ebay, but since it is coming from the US (couldn't find it in Europe) I doubt I will have it before the battery swap. I think the icarSoft i620 can do the job. Is listed at...

Re: Differences in battery packs C-Zero Ion i-Miev

From the user evcar,

I was surprised by reading about iOn produced after 15/05/2012 - capacity is 14.5kWh

Re: Differences in battery packs C-Zero Ion i-Miev

Somewhere I have seen a photo that illustrates where to look for the sticker that indicates the battery size on the actual car - it might have been on here, or maybe over at speakev.com - I'll see if I can remember where I saw it... http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/193656CompartimentMoteur.png htt...

Re: Battery Failure Data

It might be interesting to see the end-of-charge voltage, does it only go to 4.1 like with 88 cells? Is it advertised as a 14,5 kWh pack or do they just talk about the range in brochures? Could the cells have larger Ah capacity instead? I know that my C-Zero has about 14,5 kWh left in it's 88 cells...

Re: Battery Failure Data

I think that 2013 and after, all i-MiEVs have LEV50N, like the PHEV Outlander. Even the Peugeot Ion and Citroen C0 (the European clones) have the LEV50N since 2012 (I don´t know exactly the month of 2012 they made the change, putting just 80 cells on them). I believe that resistance to heat was ver...

Re: Why Is Range Such a Big Deal?

1.What percentage of your family'r driving needs are, or could be (if you had more than one), met by the i-MiEV? About 75%; often we need two cars and take the iOn for the longest journey. If we have another e-car, will cover near 95%. 2. What is your everyday i-MiEV driving scenario? A 32 km (20 m...
