Re: Speed vs. Power Gauge: Request for Data

It seems to me that there are just too many variables for the collected data to be meaningful Speed is easy enough measure, but temperature, a few MPH of head or tail wind (or even crosswind) a degree ot two of uphill or downhill when it appears to the driver that the road is absolutely flat, vehicl...

Re: Driver's Side Mirror

Joe, This eBay seller lists convex mirrors for both sides of many Mitsubishi cars, as well as most other makes and models http://stores.ebay.com/car-parts-market?_trksid=p4340.l2563 If we could figure out what car Mitsu 'borrowed' our mirrors from, we could maybe buy the convex replacements and just...

Re: Actual mileage per charge

. . . . just wondering what the cars in america are actually seeing in the mileage per charge. As I look on-line I'm finding a very big difference. Any where from 60 to 100 miles per charge. This seems a rather extreme variance even while considering all driving styles. Any thoughts?...... Thoughts...

Outside Mirrors

Does anybody know . . . . if our car uses mirrors which were used previously on some other Mitsu model, or are they unique to this car? I would really like to go to convex mirrors on both sides and there is an eBay outfit from England which sells all kinds of mirrors for Mitsu's, as well as most oth...

Re: Driving in B mode with the I MIEV

So, driving in B mode, what kind of range do you get on a single charge? We did a 50 mile loop today, some stop and go, lots at 45 to 55 with the A/C on the whole time and the lights and wipers on for the last 15 miles and when we got home we had just over 1/4 tank and 25 miles left on the 'guess-o...

Re: Third Brake Light Flasher

Jon, lightly depressing the brakes gives you even better regeneration than B . You can test this by keeping it in B at around 20mph with the foot off the go-pedal and seeing what happens to regen when you then depress the brake. Yes - I've noticed this too. When I misjudge the point where I roll ou...

Re: Hello from northern New Mexico: i on order for May deliv

If you haven't bought your Eaton 'charger' yet, be advised that you do have other options Charger in quotes above because the charger is actually in the car - Whatever cord you use to plug in the car is just a 'smart cable' which tells the onboard charger what to do The supplied 120 volt cord that c...

Re: Driving in B mode with the I MIEV

Can you drive in B mode in the city all the time? I drive in B mode all the time too - I wish it was the 'standard' mode (one click back from neutral) so you don't have to click through all the gates to get it into B and back out Once you get used to how fast the car slows, you can let off the peda...

Re: Shade cover...

Sure a inside shade works , but this is so much better! Anything that beats the paint off the car when the wind whips it around can't be called a 'better idea'. Putting it away after it's been rained on wouldn't be fun . . . . unless you took the time to dry it completely you'd wind up with a moldy...
