Re: Cruise Control

It'll be interesting to see if anyone ever makes an aftermarket one for these cars - I kinda doubt it, at least not for quite awhile Aftermarket CC's in standard ICE cars are vacuum operated devices which mechanically pull on the bellcrank of the throttlebody with a cable to adjust the engine speed....

Re: 2013 Mitsubishi I Suggestions

My Cavalier has a sunroof, plus the sport package and several other options costing more than the roof, and it all added $2,500 to the price. I'd rather have a sunroof than heated mirrors and a battery heater. I park in a garage that never goes below 40 degrees or above 80 degrees. The sunroof can'...

Re: Fuel Gauge Question

SteveB wrote:So, if it is not good to fully charge the battery every time, why does the manual say to charge it full every two weeks? This is a little bit confusing in my opinion.
I believe they're thinking that once every two weeks is once every 8 or 10 recharges . . . .

Re: 2013 Mitsubishi I Suggestions

. . . . why don't these cars have sunroof's? It's more aerodynamic than windows down, and doesn't use as much energy as the A/C A sunroof is usually about an $800 option on most cars - That's probably why we don't have one I think the i is touted as the 'affordable EV' and you just can't have every...

Re: steering wheel toggle for drive mode

After 3 weeks driving the car, I figured out what I'd personally like in the way of paddles on the steering wheel For me, one programmable paddle on the right side of the wheel would do it. 3 choices of user programmable functions would be really nice . . . . or, just pre-program the paddle from the...

Programming a USB Flash Memory for the Stereo

Has anyone does this yet? If so, what's the best way to store the music (in separate files and folders?) so as to best be able to access what you want with the 'Memory/Track' Up/Down button on the stereo? Each song as a sepatate file, grouped together in folders by artist . . . . or how do you go ab...

Re: 2013 Mitsubishi I Suggestions

One thing that definitely needs to be done is making the 12V system totally separate from the main battery bank. I have found a noticeable decrease in range when I use the heater or AC. You could easily put larger 12V batteries in the front of the vehicle. They figured out many years ago that what ...

Re: LiON accessary battery

Everything runs off the 330 volt traction battery, as it should - That's where all the power is stored There are many things on the car which require 12 volts - The stereo, all the lights, the wipers, the heater fan, the power steering, the motor and inverter cooling system, all the computer equipme...

Re: 2013 Mitsubishi I Suggestions

Climate controls need to be higher up so you don't have to take your eyes so far off the road. I understand previous models had them higher and horizontal. Yes, the Euro version has the 3 knobs in a horizontal alignment, but I don't think they are any higher than our top knob I find that once I hav...
