Re: Adapters

bradleydavidgood777, thank you for your post. I see that you took the inexpensive way out and are using your 120vac extension cord for 240vac without changing the connectors over to 6-20. Just pay attention as to which voltage you have at the other end when you use it. :geek:

Re: Hatched a Tesla

Hi jray3, glad you had a chance for an extended Tesla test drive - with a gaggle of 12-y/o girls notwithstanding. I found your comments interesting - certainly more insightful than talking with typical (around here) suburban Tesla owners who appear clueless... I mean, some of them don't understand s...

Re: Car not charging,..DC/DC converter failure. not what we expected.

electronpusher, so sorry to see you jerked around by the Mitsubishi dealer. Their mis-diagnosis cost you time and money and their refusal to do right by you reflects horribly on not only the dealership but Mitsubishi Australia Ltd., as well as the Mitsubishi Corporation - a sure way of stopping futu...

melloyello, thank you for following up and appreciate all your past posts. Sorry to see you go, and I'm sad that someone here didn't pick up this car. Wish you all the best in your new surroundings.

Re: Range extender !

Gencis, when we first got our i-MiEVs, many of us contemplated carrying around some spare 'fuel', just in case... Although I once threw in my 48v LiFePO4 pack and an inverter into my i-MiEV so I could charge my Sparrow at an EV car show, I've never actually done something like this for peace-of-mind...

Re: Buckwheat's car.

Dan in Cleveland, welcome to the forum. Must say, an appropriate i-MiEV color for you!

Delighted you're experiencing the "EV grin" and that Buckwheat has a nice fresh-air car to breathe in. Looking forward to the photo.

44.0Ah for the i-MiEV is excellent! Maybe the battery had been replaced at some point in the last six years...

Re: Not Charging. Main Inverter Fuse blown

Lic, this is frustrating and I commiserate with you. Thank you for keeping us up to date, and wish you all the best with getting the dealer to tell you what they did and, more importantly, if you yourself can do whatever reset it was. Another example of being held hostage to a manufacturer by a clos...

Re: Should I buy a 2010-2011 i-Miev here in Brazil???

As a lifelong Apple supporter (still have my 1984 512K Classic Mac), I sympathize. There is an app that runs on iOS called EVBatMon http://evpositive.com/ios-apps.html It does provide battery capacity in Ah and some cell min/max information, but without the view of all 88 cells that CaniOn shows. Pe...
