Re: Friction brakes issue- 100% braking force - calipers?

Hello All, I rarely use the friction brakes - just when coming to a stop or in an emergency but today I was parking and applied the brake pedal lightly but I got full braking force and the car stopped suddenly and unevenly. I reversed and slammed on the brake but it appeared normal. I tried it agai...

Re: measuring capacity loss through CanIon

Nominal rated cell capacity is 50Ah, but the BMS on the car does not charge the cells to 100% (4.2 volts per cell) but only to 4.1 volts per cell. Depending on what reference you take as gospel, 4.1 volts on a cell chemistry that is 100% charged at 4.2 volts is about 90% charged. If this is the cas...

Re: terms of baterry warranty

Dear sirs, has anione a pdf with the terms of battery warranty? we would like to send a letter to the PSA group to increase the battery warranty at least equal to the mitsubitshi ones (10 years/100.000km) and we would like to show the mitsubitshi terms of warranty. Here in spain, we are notice to c...

Re: measuring capacity loss through CanIon

Perhaps just give it some time. I know that when I plugged my wife's "i" into the canion app it did not register AH for hours if not a day or more. If memory serves canion was monitoring a charge cycle when it popped up. Looks to me like it's canion that stores the history etc. So from wh...

Re: measuring capacity loss through CanIon

Greetings everyone, I have recently noticed that cani0n is now showing the Ah value of our battery modules. This raises few questions. What is the new value of our Yuasa LEV50 cells ? They are branded as 50Ah. I doubt cani0n would really show 50 in brand new car. But if it would that means I have l...

Re: Peugeot Ion not charging with high AC voltage

... So if the car was left charging over night and the voltage happened to climb during the night past this threshold the charge would abort part way through without warning, leaving the owner to discover an incompletely charged car in the morning with no clues as to why it stopped unless they had ...

Re: How to shift gears

Your test result is interesting--so it appears that, at least for your car, 1. the accelerator function is identical in all three gears, DBC, 2. but the regen level varies from greatest to least, BDC. Now i'm curious about how the levels of acceleration are varied for us with DEB and not so for you...

Peugeot Ion not charging with high AC voltage

Hi All, Occasional lurker who has owned a 2011 Peugeot Ion for a year now, and thought I would pass on a tip/warning for those driving an Ion and (presumably) C-Zero or i-Miev in the UK or EU... In the extreme snow conditions we had in the UK a few weeks ago I plugged my Ion in to charge after getti...

Re: Let the Hacking Begin

What I would like to get rid of is the 'creep' facility. I know most people are used to it but that doesn't make it good, IMO. It is wasting energy all the time you are sat at the lights or in traffic and also causes the lazy and inconsiderate amongst us to sit with their brake lights on dazzling t...
