Re: Is anyone getting a bit upset with Tesla owners?

This is more of a charging courtesy observation. I was at a local grocery store with underground parking and four level 2 charging stations. During a recent visit there was a BMW i3 parked and plugged in and a Tesla parked but not plugged in. Plenty of parking spaces available in the lot near the ch...

Re: almost new owner in socal

Prodrive, Welcome to EV land. Look at the left side of the drivers seat at the floor between the seat and the door. If there's a small lever/handle, pull it up and it will open the port on the drivers side rear quarter panel. Behind that door (is a new boat!!) no, seriously is a plastic cover that w...

Re: Airbag sensor illuminated on dash

Greetings, Follow up on the initial post. Went to the dealer today and they reset the code for the SRS (airbag) light. The Assistant service manager said that if it occurs again they would most likely change the left front impact sensor. I asked if there was a recall notice on the sensor and was tol...

Airbag sensor illuminated on dash

Electronauts, After driving my 2012 for over 20,000 miles the SRS red light has permanently lit up my dash. Has anyone else recently had problems with this item? I did a search on this forum and it seems that a collision sensor in the front of the car may be the problem. Also, there was a suggestion...

Mitsubishi Owners Day

Greetings electronauts, Mitsubishi is hosting a Mitsubishi Owners Day at its Normal, Illinois plant on Sept. 26, from 9-1. according to an e-mail I received today. Any I-Miev owners in the area might want to attend to show their enthusiasm for their electric vehicles. On the other hand, the event se...

Re: Morpace Market Research

Yes, I had a similar reaction with my responses.
Not sure which of my answers threw me under the bus. They know I own an I-Miev so that wasn't the problem. I did the survey yesterday.
Maybe they don't like geezers with electric cars ???
Just have to wait for the next survey.

Re: i-MiEV's a part of National Drive Electric?

Watts Up. Houston chapter of EAA is showing cars at the IKEA store on I-10 (Katy Freeway) from 9-12AM on Sept. 20. We have about 24 cars signed up so far. This is a static display to show/tell people what's happening in the world of electric vehicles. Our audience is mainly customers coming to shop ...

Parking light bulb replacement

My 2012 ES vehicle is getting expensive to maintain. Not only did I have to replace the driver side windshield wiper last week but now a bulb has burned out.
Seriously, has any one had experience changing the parking light bulb. The manual seems a bit confusing to me.
Driver's side.
Thanks

Kill A Watt meter

Greetings electronauts, Are any other owners monitoring their electricity usage with a Kill A Watt meter (120 volt application). Level 1. Recently my meter started to read 140 volts when the car was charging. I unplugged the car and tried it in another outlet without the car plugged into the meter. ...
