Window glass replacement

Has anyone replaced window glass in their car?
I'm curious about availability of the glass itself.
Local Mitsubishi dealer indicated it will have to be ordered from California but I was wondering if anyone had experience with a local source.
Passenger rear door window was smashed.
Thanks

Mitsubishi and Nissan

According to a news story I heard today, Nissan now has a 34% ownership position in Mitsubishi. Perhaps the I-MIEV will be promoted/advertised more now as Nissan would have two models to present to the public. Maybe a larger capacity battery would be in the works for the I-MIEV as the Leaf sees its ...

"Rotating tires"

Has any one reversed the front tires (side to side) and the back tires (side to side)?
With almost 24000 miles on the original tires, I'm thinking I might be able to stretch out their life a little by swapping sides.
Any input would be appreciated.

Re: Chicago News - 2016 US i-MiEV

Mitsubishi needs to put this reviewer in charge of their marketing department. Oh, what marketing department? Other than the uncertainty of the I-MIEV pronunciation as stated above, this was an honest review of the car. I particularly like the introduction sitting under the tree. Stay charged my fri...

Anti-theft/ security light on dash

This week my car went to the dealer for the impact sensor recall. That evening while locking the car with the key fob I noticed a strange red light flashing on the dash. After reading the owners manual I discovered the light indicates the security system is armed, I've owned the car almost three yea...

Re: Recall: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE

Greetings electronauts, Recall completed. Just returned from my local Mitsubishi dealer with a new impact sensor installed. I had a scheduled appointment time and the whole process took about 1 1/4 hours. Service manager even plugged my car in for a level two charge after the work was completed. Whe...

Re: Recall: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE

Well it happened again. My airbag light on the dash illuminated for a second time yesterday about a two months after the first incident. With the recall about the crash sensor now official I'll probably wait for the part replacement rather than have the dealer "reset" the computer to turn ...

Re: Recall: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE

Just received the "Letter" also.
Does anyone know how many of these impact sensors are on the car and where are they located?
I had my dash board airbag light reset about a month ago at the dealer.

Re: Is anyone getting a bit upset with Tesla owners?

This is more of a charging courtesy observation. I was at a local grocery store with underground parking and four level 2 charging stations. During a recent visit there was a BMW i3 parked and plugged in and a Tesla parked but not plugged in. Plenty of parking spaces available in the lot near the ch...

Re: almost new owner in socal

Prodrive, Welcome to EV land. Look at the left side of the drivers seat at the floor between the seat and the door. If there's a small lever/handle, pull it up and it will open the port on the drivers side rear quarter panel. Behind that door (is a new boat!!) no, seriously is a plastic cover that w...
