Re: 1 MONTH OWNER 2012 MIEV

Hi Aivar
In the morning when I preheat the cabin using the remote, I use the defrost option and I leave the seat heater on the night before, when I shut down .
The defrost option is much quicker and warmer than the heat option & the seat is prewarmed as well.

Re: Help won't charge

If what Kiev sugegsted doesn't work ,
You could try using another EVSE to charge, both 110v & 220v , and or try charging with a L3 charger if you have one close by . This will help narrow down where the problem is.

Re: Is the i-Miev for us?

Congratulation on your decision,
You won't regret it.
I'm 6ft and dropp the seat height to the lowest position.
I also lifted the carpet and removed the dead pedal foot rest ( a block of Styrofoam, at drivers left foot position, ,gained a few extra inches.
Good luck and safe travels

Re: Can I plug in but not charge?

You could plug it in and delay the start charging until 1/2 an hour before you depart in the morning. This way you could engage the
preheating/cooling just before you leave.

Re: 3 Years & 123,00 km 76,000 Miles

Just to note that I'm located in Canada and have the north american version of the i Miev - slightly larger and i believe heavier.

In the summer I can get 100 km average on flat terrain.

Re: Duosida EVSE

I did a Duosida EVSE power draw test Since my dual Turbocord portable evse failed recently , I decided to purchase the Duosida EVSE at 1/3 the cost. With concerns about the amperage drawn on a regular 15 amp 110 circuit I tried measuring the power draw in this video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

Re: RBS light Alarm

I believe there was one AC mounting bracket failure that had resulted in the wiring harness being damaged from the vibration,
also triggering the dash board warning light.
