Re: Hatched a Tesla

Agree with you Don - Special like minded people, not intimidated, pioneering into the EV world from all walks of life. Very similar to the Cordwood builders community that we have meet. We've been fortunate enough to experience both worlds. :D Thank you Joe for your wonderful write up and comments.

Thanks for sharing the experience & photos .
We really enjoyed meeting up with you and Kathy here in Montreal.
It must of been an interesting trip through the Maritime Provinces.
We're hoping to head out that way sometime soon.

Re: Not Charging. Main Inverter Fuse blown

There is a Facebook group ( i-miev en francais) in French that recently reported a similar situation , in short a diagnosis of a MCU needing replacement for some astronomical cost and eventually discovered and replaced a blown fuse . Re: 1 MONTH OWNER 2012 MIEV

Hi Aivar
In the morning when I preheat the cabin using the remote, I use the defrost option and I leave the seat heater on the night before, when I shut down .
The defrost option is much quicker and warmer than the heat option & the seat is prewarmed as well.

Re: Help won't charge

If what Kiev sugegsted doesn't work ,
You could try using another EVSE to charge, both 110v & 220v , and or try charging with a L3 charger if you have one close by . This will help narrow down where the problem is.
