unfortunately the shape and size gives the Bolt about the same Cd as our iMiev, around 0.3x or so. If GM put the same hardware into a Volt body and gives it a heatpump heater, it'll be a winner. The lower Volt's Cd, around 0.2x i think, probably can push the range north of 260-mile on the highway. ...

I have never seen the Merlin before. Yeah, it is better than the Sparrow, but that is faint praise.

The Solo is far better than the Merlin.

There was an i MiEV at the Saturday event at the Larz Anderson Museum in Brookline, MA. Along with a bunch of Tesla's, i3's, Leafs and a couple of e-Golf's (including mine). There was a Smart ED and even a Fiat 500e - the first I've seen.

The timing I am seeing is we have ~8 years to stop using ALL fossil fuels - to avoid >2C warming.
