Re: Widening Takata airbag recall

In morning will call Mitsubishi corporate customer service (888-648-7820) and see if they’ll pay for two-way trucking for repair and will even ask for rental of a replacement car while it’s gone. Will see and report back. Other option might be have them authorizes the local Subaru dealer (who actua...

Re: My Car is Only Charging Up to 12 Bars

I quite understand that whilst I am driving the km distance meter will reflect how I am driving and the condition of the road. In fact as soon as I switch on the airconditioner the range drops by 20km. In my case I am reading the km left as soon as I finish charging the battery at full 16 notches a...

Re: My Car is Only Charging Up to 12 Bars

Thus every time I give it a charge the amount in this meter gives me an indication of how much the battery has been charged and what autonomy I have left in them. No, that's not true - The 'km left meter' doesn't tell you anything at all about the health of the battery or how much charge you put in...

Re: My Car is Only Charging Up to 12 Bars

Welcome to the forum! Glad you're here . . . . but why did it take you 2 years to find us? :?: Many things affect the number on the RR (Range Remaining) gauge, but the largest by far is how the driver is operating the car and how fast you're driving it. If your battery is charging to a full 16 bars,...

Re: TPMS Thread

There are aftermarket 'reset tools' which will mate up a second set of wheels to the car. This one claims to work on the iMiEV

Re: How many miles should first bar last on low mile battery?

If the pictures give any idea of the relative size, the 75 AH is both taller and thicker than the 50 - I wouldn't hold much hope of ever seeing a pack of those squeezed into a 2012 iMiEV

Re: My Car is Only Charging Up to 12 Bars

I think we all know where this is headed . . . . likely sooner rather than later I'm just wondering what the Mitsu dealer will do. Do they have some battery recovery routine they can try? I'm also wondering how long they'll need to keep the car. I think your bad cell will eventually fail and you'll...

Re: Charging Down Route 66

I've been here pretty much since the beginning and I've never posted a picture on my own - It's surely not as easy as it could be or as easy as it actually is on most other forums I participate in Basically, you have to 'host' your photos on some other site designed for photographs and then link her...

Re: Widening Takata airbag recall

I received the 'Safety Recall' notice today for both cars - It's for the passenger side airbag and not the drivers though. Time required to do the change is only 0.5 hours Since my closest iMiEV certified dealer is now 100 miles away, I'll have to get with Mitsu (again) and see if they're willing to...
