Re: Recommendations for new brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums?

You may be the first one on this forum to do a brake job - I drove a Supra for 135K miles, then gave it to my son and he drove it for 30K miles and it still had the factory brakes on it when he sold it . . . . and it didn't have regenerative braking - I'm counting on the iMiEV brakes being good for ...

Re: Can't Find CHAdeMO Charging Port Lever

We go to Gulfport all the time - Sam's Club is over there. No problem making it home from there though, so why spend $4 recharging??

Trips north are made in the Volt

Re: A/C while plugged in not cold

Yup - Only way to get the A/C to run while plugged in is to use the pre-cool function with the remote. Even then, I think it only lasts 20 minutes

Re: Can't Find CHAdeMO Charging Port Lever

Without the quick charging, the car is far less practical than I'd hoped. I'm not sure what kind of trade-in I could get on it should I buy another EV with more mileage and fast-charging. I guess it depends on how you intend to use it - We've had two 2012's now for 7 years, one with DCQC and one wi...

Re: Can't Find CHAdeMO Charging Port Lever

If you don't have the DCQC lever to open that door on the drivers side by the seat, open the removable panel behind the back seat on the passenger side and you will see a cable - Pull on the slug at the end of the cable and that will open the little door on the drivers side and you will see . . . . ...

Re: Replacing Peugeot Ion 2012 OBC with I-MiEV 2017 OBC

I'm far from an expert on the subject, but I *think* you're going to find that the newer '17 unit has some different connectors than your older Ion unit, so it's probably not a simple plug in replacement. It can *probably* be made to work with some cutting and splicing of cables - It would be most h...

Re: Dash warning beepers

If I had to guess (and it's only a guess) there's just one beeper and it warns you of everything. Disconnect it and you might wish you had it back when something more serious goes wrong

If you're wanting to sell it, where is it and how much are you asking for it?
