Used 2012 I-miev remote climate control

Last year our 2012 I-miev went to auction. I just found the remote climate control. I remember the dealer said don't lose it because it will cost a small fortune to replace it. Something like $900. Is there anyone who can use this and wants to make an offer or can tell me what it is worth so I can l...

Re: gas-powered i Fuel Economy

I test drove the Mirage and would recommend that you test drive it. Nothing fancy but it is roomy feeling like the i-miev and the dealer told me that buyers were reporting back getting 50mpg.

Re: Mitsubishi announces $6K price drop on 2014 i-MiEV!!!

I don't think it's very realistic to expect changes in battery technology or range, at least not until they redesign the entire car. Yes, we have the shortest range, but we also have the smallest size and lowest weight. Actually I think the SmartED would be classified as the smallest size and lowes...

Re: Mitsubishi announces $6K price drop on 2014 i-MiEV!!!

The added standard features show Mitsubishi is listening and I guess is normal in the cycle life of any model. It is good news. I love my i-Miev but I think the biggest omission is an option for a larger battery for about 20 more miles of range bringing it to the average of the competition. Either t...

Re: 1-year Check

I just had my one year battery check and warranty recall work done. The dealer charged me $49.95 for the battery test and said it was fine. They did not give me any documentation. I asked to speak with the mechanic and he said the test said the capacity of my battery came to 46.6 and that the most i...

Re: Winter Driving In The 2012-2013 Driving Season

After hearing reports like yours about the i's winter performance, I've been thinking I could buy the car earlier since I can afford it, but I wouldn't want to put a brand new car through the salt and cinders. How's the range looking in these conditions? I am doing my winter driving in Rochester NY....

I have the Schneider unit installed in my garage. It works very well. Highly recommended.

Re: Electric Motor Unit Warning Light When Using Remote?

I am using the Schneider EV Link 240v EVSE. It has the time delay feature. I do not get a yellow warning light when using the remote. I mainly use the remote for the defrost/AC mode.
