Re: my Miev will not charge. Charged from TOWING

The F-150 owner can drive more than twice as far if he tows an EV and then drives the EV. In the above video the EV is 10X the efficiency as the F-150. The F-150 measured 10.7 mpg and the EV was 108 mpg.

The F-150 is much More Efficient While Towing
More Efficient means more total vehicle miles can be driven if an EV is charged while being towed by the F-150.

Re: Hypermiling the i-MiEV

I measured regen efficiency several times uses two i-MiEV cars. When the front i-MiEV, going 30 mph, uses 8 BARS (~7 kWh) the towed i-MiEV using regen B adds 4 BARS (~3.5 kWh). This implies the i-MiEV is about 70% efficient from battery to wheel/road, and the round trip back to the battery is about ...

Re: Hatched a Tesla. Same Here, X90D

I seem to be following in JoeS' footsteps. After five years of daily driving my beloved i-MiEV (and my brother buying two new ones), last month I bought a new Tesla, X90D. The i-MiEV is still my daily driver, since the Tesla is really my wife's car. We ordered the Tesla in 2014, two and a half years...

Re: charging cable pulled out when car started moving

... My solution is a " board stop ". The Board Stop was my solution until I resurfaced my concrete driveway. The driveway looked so nice and I was tried of tripping over the Board Stop. Yesterday, I ripped out the J1772 car inlet port. . - http://i1063.photobucket.com/albums/t510/lesseyfa...
