Re: What actually is MUT III in detail?

The MUT III software can be found here: http://mmc-forum.ru/viewtopic.php?p=1173#p1173 I haven't found time to start analyzing/decompiling the software to see how it's made. But creating a replacement for the hardware USB to CAN can be tricky without actually having one to experiment with. We need t...

Re: CAN messages for pre-heat / cool and charge start/stop delays

Hi,
did you find something about the CAN messages for the remote ? I am trying to find out if making a retrofit remote for my C-Zero would be feasible ?

Re: Any tips to damaging the main battery?

Yes it does, see datasheet page 26:

DCCx
Discharge Cell x
x=1..12
0=turn off shorting switch for cell ‘x’ (default); 1=turn on shorting switch

The hard pard would be, how to get access to the SPI of the LTC6802 !

Re: Any tips to damaging the main battery?

Totally agree with JoeS, this is totally un-ethical ! I'm just giving ideas, from a technical point of view. I wouldn't try any of these ideas, I'm sure the engineers thought of that and probably have means of finding any artificial degradation to the battery (doesn't the BMS log each charge ?). See...

Re: Any tips to damaging the main battery?

Isn't it possible to force the balancing load of one cell to turn ON by sending a CAN command to the BMS ? Or, on a harder way, open up the battery and put a resistor in parallel to one of the cells. That will certainly drive that cell to death by undervoltage. Edit: found this topic, this should do...
